Trophy Buck is proud to partner with several non-profit and state organizations in advancing conservation efforts and filling the freezers of food pantries across South Texas. Below are some of the organizations we partner with in an effort to give back to our community:

San Antonio Food Bank

San Antonio Food Bank

Since 2016, Trophy Buck has teamed up with San Antonio Food Bank via the Hunters For The Hungry program in processing deer meat into 2# hamburger chubs to be distributed to churches, soup kitchens, and food pantries across South Texas. In that time, we have processed and donated over 100,000 pounds of venison to the program. We are proud to partner with San Antonio Food Bank and look forward to continued joint efforts to fight hunger in years to come. Daily Bread Ministries

Daily Bread Ministries

Each year we have about 5-7% of our processed meat that is not picked up by our customers due to unforeseen circumstances, financial setbacks, etc. and we are left with deer meat in our freezer. While this is not ideal and results in our company not receiving the funds owed to us for processing the meat, we are happy to be able to get the meat into good hands and put to use. Because freezer space is always crucial in preparing for the upcoming deer season, we work with Daily Bread Ministries in donating this leftover meat to their organization for them to distribute to Christian organizations in and around San Antonio. Stewards of the Wild

Stewards of the Wild

Stewards of the Wild is a young professionals program that was established to support the missions of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation and Department. With member-led chapters across major cities throughout Texas, Stewards of the Wild engages young to middle age outdoor enthusiasts by hosting exclusive events to raise awareness for conservation issues facing future generations of Texans. Stewards of the Wild also partners with City Kids Adventures which is a non-profit organization that offers a lifestyle change for inner-city kids of San Antonio.

Their guiding principles for the kids are centered on family first, providing outdoor recreational opportunities that teach life skills and mentor the students to encourage higher education and career goals. We have participated in Stewards of the Wild’s Sausage Showdown by competing against other local processors in numerous sausage categories in which all the proceeds for the event are given to City Kids Adventures. More information on these great organizations can be found at https://www.tpwf.org/sotw/ and https://citykidsadventures.org/
Texas Parks & Wildlife

Texas Parks & Wildlife

While the men and women in green tend to get a bad reputation in their regulation of hunting and fishing in Texas, we have built great relationships with many Game Wardens and Biologists throughout our decades of being in the industry.

In order for the state’s resources to be properly utilized, it is crucial for TPWD to manage the resources to the best of their ability so that generations to come will be able to continue enjoying hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. Trophy Buck will always follow the rules and regulations set forth by TPWD in an effort to do our part in the conservation of the state’s wildlife resources.
