Founded in San Antonio in 1985, Trophy Buck began by serving everyday hunters with family property for hunting or long-time leases. While serving the everyday customer will always be our "bread & butter", the hunting industry has shifted towards ranches using high and low-fence hunting operations to service corporations, outfitters, and large groups. Because of this shift in the industry, Trophy Buck was one of the first businesses in South Texas to recognize the importance of adapting our business processes, services, and offerings to better meet the needs of the ranches, guides, outfitters, and clients they service.

 

In addition, we moved our business from San Antonio and relocated to Lytle in 2016 to be closer to brush country hunting and the ranches we service. Our location is on the Northbound side of IH-35 which provides ease of access on and off the highway. Whether hunters are headed home from the ranch and live elsewhere in the state or guides and owners are going to the airport in San Antonio to pick up the next group of hunters, we provide everyone with a one-stop-shop for everything possibly needed for game processing & taxidermy.  ​It is our goal to make hunting operations at the ranch easier by handling all game processing and taxidermy needs at one location which allows ranches, guides, and outfitters the ability to focus on their next hunt when the previous one is completed.

Our services include ranch pick-ups, custom ranch cards, tailored corporate packages based on products and pricing desired, and door-to-door shipping of meat and mounts anywhere in the lower 48. Meat is shipped in insulated, dry-ice-packed boxes; trophies are delivered through trusted professional haulers who handle taxidermy work with the utmost of care in transit.
